2020 Truck-A-Palooza Food Truck Application

  • Quiet Hours (siren & horn free) 10am - 12pm



  • Set-up:   Gates will open at 7:30 am on the day of the event for participants; all booths must be in place by 9:45 am
  • Booth must be staffed by a member of your company for the entire event
  • Tear-Down:   Will be permitted once the public has left the grounds
  • Weather Policy:   Event will occur RAIN or SHINE



We are looking for a variety of food truck vendors for our event.  We will be collecting applications of trucks that are interested and we will make our decision for participation by February 28th (we want to make sure there is no overlap in food trucks in attendance).  Because we are a non-profit and this is one of our annual fundraisers, we do charge for our vendors to participate.  Our fee for vendors is $50.

Once approved, you MUST provide the Junior League of Albuquerque copies of your food truck's FOOD PERMITBUSINESS REGISTRATION, and ALBUQUERQUE CITY FIRE MARSHALL'S PERMIT three (3) weeks prior to the event or you will NOT be allowed to participate in Truck-A-Palooza and we will NOT refund your registration fee.  You may email copies to jlatruckapalooza@outlook.com.  

PLEASE NOTE that this event requires set-up by 9:30 am – if you do not offer breakfast items, your business may be slow during the morning hours.  This is an outdoor event (rain or shine) and while our first year was warm and sunny and perfect for frozen yogurt, last year was extremely cold and a little dreary.  We are moving our event to the President RV Parking Lot (just east of Sid Cutter Pavilion) to allow our event to be in one, level, paved parking lot – easier access for our trucks and for all attendees.  This parking lot has RV hook-ups, meaning electricity and water for any food truck participants.         

Participant space assignments will be determined by the Junior League of Albuquerque based upon the best interests of the event and/or first-come-first-served basis. Space will be located at Balloon Fiesta Park - East of Sid Cutter Pavilion in the Presidential RV Parking Lot.

Vendors/Exhibitors must provide a minimum of one (1) adult representative during the event to supervise their station/booth between the hours of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

Participants grant permission to the Junior League of Albuquerque to take photographs and/or record videos of the participant and/or displays during the event for the strict purpose of promotion and publicity of the event and/or the Junior League of Albuquerque.

Participants and their representatives shall conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate for the family-oriented event, which includes but is not limited to the following restrictions: No smoking, no profanity, and no display of inappropriate content or clothing. In the event of inappropriate behavior at the event, the Junior League of Albuquerque reserves the right to close the participant’s booth, and all Sponsor fees paid to the Junior League of Albuquerque will be forfeited.

The Junior League of Albuquerque shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any participant property, and participant shall further hold harmless, defend and indemnify the Junior League of Albuquerque, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, causes of action, judgments, damages and expenses including but not limited to attorney’s fees, because of bodily injury, death, or injury to or destruction of tangible property or any other injury or damage resulting from or arising out of (a) participant’s property, (b) participant’s use of the premises, and/or (c) any act, error, or omission on the part of the participant, or its agents, employees, guests, invitees or subcontractors.
