Become a Member

Thank you for your interest in joining The Junior League oAlbuquerque! Each year, the Junior League of Albuquerque trains groups of New Members to be effective volunteers and leaders in our community.  


New members
 complete a comprehensive training series that allows them to learn about our League structure and programs, as well as experience some of our community programs first-hand. 

The New Member series includes advisor small group meetings, educational courses, volunteer hours, a community project to plan and execute, and attending League functions such as general membership meetings and socials.

Membership Criteria

The Junior League of Albuquerque uses the following criteria for the consideration of prospective members:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age by the admission deadline
  • Possess an interest in volunteerism, a commitment to community service, an interest in developing the potential of women (and yourself), and in providing voluntary community participation.
  • Reside within the greater Albuquerque area
  • Sign a contract stating she understands the responsibilities of first-year membership

Information Sessions

Summer 2018:

July 14 11 am, July 18 5:30 pm, July 22 10 am, and July 25 5:30 pm. Come and meet some of the members and learn about what the Junior League of Albuquerque is providing our community.

Locations for each session will be posted by July 7 and electronic invitations will be sent if you email us or submit an interest application.

Note: New member dues and contact information are due July 26 to begin membership on August 1

We will have information sessions again November-December 2018 for membership in January 2019.
