Since 1934 the Junior League of Albuquerque (JLA) has been committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Membership is open to all women who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. The JLA has over 250 members, and as a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, is one of nearly 300 Junior League chapters in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
We are accepting New Member applications, and would love to have you join us.
Who can join the Junior League of Albuquerque?
To be eligible to join Junior League of Albuquerque as a New Member, a woman must be at least 21 years of age at the time she applies, and reside in the greater Albuquerque area. The prospective member must possess an interest in voluntarism, a commitment to community service and an interest in developing further potential for voluntary community participation.

Events are planned throughout the year and advertised to those who have expressed interest in membership. If you have submitted a New Member application, you will be contacted with event information throughout the year. If you have questions regarding membership, please contact us at email@example.com.
New Member Commitments
New Members complete a comprehensive training series that allows them to learn about our League structure and programs, as well as experience some of our community programs first-hand. The New Member program includes meetings, educational courses, work shifts, community projects, and attending League functions such as General Membership Meetings. New Members pay dues of $150. These dues will be prorated based on their date of application.
